International award-winning medical drama starring British actor Hugh Lawrie as New Jersey doctor Gregory House. House and his team of young medical experts are constantly challenged with complex and unusual diagnoses with House himself leading the way with his radical and often confrontational theories. House himself is a complex individual who has medical problems of his own, most notably an injured leg that causes him constant pain and requires him to walk with the aid of a cane. A maverick in the field of medicine, House is sarcastic, cantankerous and shows little respect to his patients and colleagues, often going as far as to mock them.
