Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer star in the Emmy Award-nominated "Two and a Half Men," a comedy about men, women, sex, dating, divorce, mothers, single parenthood, sibling relations, surrogate families, money and, most importantly, love. More specifically, it's about the lives of two brothers, a son/nephew and the many women who surround them all. Charlie Harper (Sheen) is a well-to-do bachelor with a house at the beach, a Mercedes in the garage and an easy way with women. His casual Malibu lifestyle is interrupted when his tightly wound brother, Alan (Cryer), and Alan's son, Jake (Jones), come to stay with him. Complicating matters further are Charlie and Alan's narcissistic, emotionally toxic mother, Evelyn (Taylor); Alan's deeply neurotic ex-wife, Judith (Hinkle); Charlie's domineering, unapologetically blue-collar housekeeper, Berta (Ferrell); and Rose (Lynskey), a brilliantly manipulative and vaguely crazy neighbor who had a brief fling with Charlie, remains obsessed (more) TWO AND A HALF MEN IV Show Description - 2 with him and is determined to stay in his life by whatever means necessary. April Bowlby also stars as Alan's young new wife, Kandi.

Despite the complexities of their lives and their own strained relationship, Charlie and Alan have one thing in common: They both love Jake and want what's best for him. As a result, they manage to create a little family unit that promises to make each one of them a better man.

    Charlie Sheen

    Although he has starred in over 40 feature films, Charlie Sheen, who plays Charlie on "Two and a Half Men," catapulted to fame in "Platoon" and "Wall Street."     Jon Cryer

    Jon Cryer, who plays Alan on "Two and a Half Men," has appeared in numerous feature films, including "No Small Affair," "Pretty in Pink" and "Hot Shots!," among others. He co-wrote, produced and starred in the well-received independent films "The Pompatus of Love" and "Went to Coney Island on a Mission from God... Be Back by Five."     Angus T. Jones

    Angus T. Jones, 13, who plays Jake on "Two and a Half Men," began his career at age 4 doing television commercials. He landed his first lead role at age 6 in the feature film "See Spot Run."     April Bowlby

    April Bowlby, who plays Kandi on "Two and a Half Men," was born in Vellejo, California, and grew up in Manteca, California, home of the world-famous Manteca waterslides. Unsure of what she wanted to do with her life, she briefly attended Moorpark College, where she studied marine biology, French and ballet.

    Bowlby decided to become an actress after a friend suggested it, and she began studying acting with Ivanna Chubbuck. A few months later, Bowlby auditioned for a couple of lines in "Two and a Half Men" and secured the role of Kandi.

    Bowlby lives in Los Angeles. Her birth date is July 30.

    Holland Taylor

    Emmy Award winner Holland Taylor, who plays Evelyn in "Two and a Half Men," is a veteran of film, television and theatre.     Melanie Lynskey

    Melanie Lynskey, who plays Rose on "Two and a Half Men," first garnered attention for her role in the feature film "Heavenly Creatures," for which she received the New Zealand Film and TV Award for Best Actress.
